The best weekend

Hello people!!

This weekend it was the best weekend:

On Friday we went to Empuriabrava for dinner in a restaurant with the friends in the photo:

We went in a Chinese restaurant. The dinner was very special, we remembered very moments of childhood, we laughed a lot, we did the invisible friend… It was FANTASTIC!!! My invisible friend was Anna, she gave me earrings, one thing for put the earrings and one CD that there are 12 songs that are very specials for ours. After the dinner, I was in the toilets because I had to make-up. Anna came into the toilet and she says me: Marina, come with me one moment please. She looks worry. I didn’t want to go out, but she forced me. When I went out I saw MARTAA!!!!!!(Marta is one of my best friends, now she is in Ireland studding 1st of Batxillerat, and this Christmas Holidays she came to visit, but she says me that she came on 26st December) when I saw her, I did a scream with excitement and I crossed throughout the restaurant for hugged her, I was very moved.
After the dinner, we went to karaoke, and after karaoke we went to Sikím.
It was a fantastic night.

On Saturday we sleep all the day.

After, at night my friends and I went to “JR” to have dinner and after we went to MILLE!! ONE OF THE BEST DISCOTEQUE THAT I HAVE BEEN TO!! I love millennium because the Dj always put the best music in the wold! We danced all night until five-six o’clock. I enjoyed it very well!!

At approximately seven o’clock we arrived at home but at one o’clock I got up because I had a familiar lunch. =S this is the bad thing in my best weekend!! :(

Love

Love, love… how would you define what love is? Can you put it down in words or it’s just an indescribable feeling that cannot be explained?

Many people believes that love is what make us feel complete, what stimulate us to do everything we want, to fight for something, to help someone; in conclusion, that love is the reason of our life.

Even there is who thinks that we life in a world full of hate and revenge, if you look around you you’ll easily see the power of love, the thousands facts that everyday are done for it, and then you’ll totally verify that our world follows the rules of love. And I’m not only talking about boyfriends, husbands and wifes, I mean all little things we can do in every moment, for example, when we let ourself for a while to dedicate a minute in other person who needs it.

As someone said someday, love is the best human quality, which will always allow you to rectify all bad things you have had in your life.

And if you don’t believe that love is all around us, please turn on the radio. Listen the song… what does it talk about? Love.

Natural disasters are the greatest threat to humanity today

Actually, people are really worried about problems that we can’t avoid and can produce very important disasters. These types of problems aren’t new, but, nowadays have more important consequences.

On the one hand, there are a lot of people who thinks that natural disasters are the greatest threat to humanity today because they have a lot of destructive power and it’s increased for the activities of humans. Countries as EEUU produce a lot of Co2 that increase the danger of natural disasters.

On the other hand, there are some people who think that the most important threat is weapons as atomic bombs or other massive destructive weapons. This people say that are humans are the greatest threat for humanity today.

In conclusion, I think that the two groups have some good reasons, but this topic doesn’t have a clear solution.

The best pets

Human have a lot of animals that can be good pets as cats, rabbits, horses, cows, birds…but in my opinion dogs are the best pets. Since the prehistory dogs go with humans and help them in some activities or simply company them. Actually I think that dogs are the best pets because they can do a lot of things for humans, for example find survivors, protect people, help shepherds to control sheeps and a lot of other things. Dogs are considered to be the best friends of humans. Dogs can do some dangerous activities and can be useful to do difficult works that humans can’t do. I think that dogs are the best pets because they are very useful, they can do some different works apart of do company, also they are very obedient and understand humans and the most important thing, they can be trained.

My Girl!

My girl is one of my favorites films, I love it, it’s so great. The first time I watched it I was 12 years old and I was alone in my grandparent’s home. I think I have never cried as I cried that day watching the film. To me, I repeat, it’s an incredible and fantastic movie: funny, amazing, tender...
Few years ago they made the second half, but I remember better the first one. The film talks about Veda, a girl who is 11 or 12 and she’s becoming adolescent and, consequently, her life starts to change: menstruation, the first kiss, new feelings... In the second half of the film she is older, more mature, and she starts a relationship with his first boyfriend.
If I had to choose between the first and the second half, I really prefer the first one. I recommend it to you all because it’s a very interesting movie that reflects a lot of things of an important part of our life: the adolescence.
Now I wish to watch it again, maybe I do it when I finish my homework, if I finish soon (I hope so).

PS: if someone knows where can I find the second half, My girl 2, please tell it to me. I’ve been looking for it for some month and I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.

Do you think life in the past was better than today?

In my opinion, now we life better than in the past. On the one hand we have a lot of services as hospitals, supermarkets, medicines…that help us every day. It’s true that a lot of things increase, as the quality of the services that we need to have a normal life. Today all it’s more easy for all the people, usually people don’t need to kill to have something to eat, but it’s true that society is very different and sometimes unfair. In general, life is easy and better because we have a rational system to get that we need, we don’t use the violence to get all that we need, but it’s also true that sometimes people use the violence to get all that they want.
In conclusion, I think that life is better today than in the past because we have a lot of services that help us if we need something.

David, Miquel Ángelo ;p

The other day I was looking at the photos on the journey that we made to Italy and I found this photo, the sculpture that comes out to the photo is “David de Miquel Ángelo”.
Well, I’m going to talk you about the sensation that I had when I saw it.
Before entering into the museum “of gallery of the academy of Florence”, one of the teachers who accompanied us to the journey, Quim, he made us a small explanation about David. He said that there were people who when they saw the sculpture they went jealous because the sculpture was perfect and they normally had a wish to break it. This attack of jealousy is called syndrome of David. When he said this I thought that he exaggerated a little because before I had seen an imitation of the sculpture in a Florence’s square and it didn’t shout my attention, but when I went into the room I was very surprised, I fell in love with him, it was perfect, it had an incredible body (as you can observe in the photo). I know that is a simple sculpture but sincerely I fell in love with him!!

We couldn’t make photos inside the room because the flash damaged the sculpture, but I did one secretly because I really love the sculpture. But at the end of the visit there was a shop and I bought one poster and one calendar of “David de Miquel Angelo”.
